MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE HOTELS

Manchester City Centre has been redeveloped in the last few years due mainly to the 1996 IRA bombing. Manchester City Centre is located next to Salford City Centre and the River Irwell is the boundary between the two. As a result of all the redevelopment there has been a massive increase in property development in the City Centre with over 5000 additional residential properties in the City Centre mostly in the form of upmarket apartments.

The City centre, benefiting from the ripple effect of the London boom offers such retail outlets as Selfridges, Hard Rock Cafe and Harvey Nichols. the main shopping district is around Deansgate and Market Street and the mall called the Manchester Arndale Centre.

Hotels in the city centre of Manchester are becoming plentiful. Notable examples include The Midland Hotel, a 5 star traditional syled hotel, the towering structure of the Hilton Manchester and the highly acclaimed Arora International Manchester on Princes Street.
